Guided by Don Domenico Munari, Parish priest of Fastro, this group counted 275 persons of several common of the Feltrino.
They left in 21 December 1876 by train to Bordeaux where they were embarked on a ship that nearly it was shipwrecked close
to La Rochelle. After to be received in that atlantico port, the group continued the travel until to Brasil, in Rio Grande do Sul.
The difficulties and the vicissitudes of the travel and the new earth are told through letters of Don Munari in which it recommended to stop the emigration.
A year after the arrive, Don Munari died, seems, for a soccer of its mula. The cause of its dead is still today argument of discussion.
